Safe & Hound Rules

1. Safe & Hound requires proof and date of your dog(s) current vaccinations.

2. Signed copies of the Safe & Hound Rules, Daycare Agreement and Intake Form. (Electronic signature(s) accepted)

We require written confirmation from the veterinarian indicating dates of vaccinations and sufficient immunity against Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella.

All dogs must have been treated with flea and tick treatment. If external parasites are discovered upon check-in, dogs will be treated with an effective form of flea and tick control at the owner’s expense. If internal parasites are discovered during a dog’s stay, treatment charges will apply at the owner’s expense.

All dogs must be spayed or neutered unless under 6 months of age. Once they are over 6 months of age, they must be spayed or neutered to socialize with other dogs in our daycare.

Temperament Interview:

To insure the safety of all other dogs and employees, all dogs must undergo a temperament evaluation before taking part in social activities at Safe & Hound. Safe & Hound reserves the right to sole discretion on whether dogs may take part in social activities.

Assumption of Risk: The owner acknowledges and is aware that employees of Safe & Hound are not veterinarians and do not have backgrounds in animal medicine. They are not expected to diagnose or detect illnesses in the dogs. The owner is aware and acknowledges that vaccines do not protect against all communicable illnesses that may affect a dog. The owner acknowledges and agrees that they assume all risk of illness, disease, harm or otherwise to their dog while under the care of Safe & Hound. All risk of damages caused by their dog to other dogs, property, or employee, Safe & Hound shall have no liability. I have read and fully understand Safe & Hound’s rules and agree to abide by them:
